       Kanjirakolli is one of the emerging tourism centre in malabar ,Here the main attraction is  the  waterfall.it is also known as 'Alakapuri waterfalls'.It is situated around 67km far from kannur and the nearest towns are iritty,manikkadvu and Thaliparamba .The monsoon scenes of Alakapuri waterfall is extremely attractive.This waterfall contains three stages first one is known as Elappara waterfall and the second one is the Alakapuri waterfalls and the last and third one is the biggest it carries more water in the monsoon.And the second stage contains seven steps of ledge of hard rocks.The origin or the starting point of waterfall is from Karnatakaand then its flowing through Kerala.Sometimes the surrounded area is blossomed by the rare  blue flower called "Neelakurinji".It is a wildflower which blossomed  at every 8 years in the area.

                   The second attraction of kanjirakolly is sasipara,Its a big ancient rock, From the top of the sasipara we can see the coorg forest karnataka and the kanjirakolly valley.View from sasipara is really wonderful and it is at height of 4000ft from sea level.so its interesting those who are like water and waterfall...
